World Record Breakers...

At the Publican Awards this week the guests took part in a world record attempt, the largest simultaneous beer tasting. 1500 people tasting 3 beers each.

So with over 4000 glasses needing to be cleared at the same time, it was down to CF to crate up all of the glass ware in under 5 minutes...

Great effort by all the lads and without a single glass breakage, the only thing getting smashed was world records!

Since the turn of the century  The RHS Chelsea flower Show has proved to be the foundation of our summer season at CF Global.

Set up teams must tackle tough tasks and schedules in order to help our client "Prestige Events" be ready for the worlds biggest event of its kind. Future CF Global managers and key personel will be forged at this event.
This year the team is as strong as our client would expect with Jack Hughes in the I.C. roll with key managers Mike Dolman rock restruant, George Davis North  Joe Davis garden terrace , Ian Cooke in RHS, Mike McDonald rock lower, and welcoming Scott Mooney in seafood.

With Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth ll in attendance along with the Royal family and guests on gala day Monday including a champagne reception like no other , this is the very pinnacle of delivery and expectancy within our industry.

Mike Dolman headed up another successful Chester May cup meeting. Backed up by Joe Davis and a strong team. The three day event went without a hitch. Mike is due to head up further events this season with our Chester racecourse based client " Horseradish" at RHS Chatsworth flower show (June) and our hometown Southport flower show, (aug) as well as further meetings at the Chester racecourse throughout the season. Well done mike, joe and the team for making CF Global the clear favourite at Chester.

CF Global has recently completed the first section of a unique assignment with a new twist. Working under the highest level of scrutiny at five different airline VIP lounges within Heathrow airport.

CF staff and management have been kept busy over the last two months while being accommodated at nearby hotels.

As this was the first time at such a venue for CF Global it has proved to be highly productive, educational, and rewarding.

As ever our objective is to deliver the highest standard of service possible whilst working within the managment plan of our clients. With limited notice our teams have adapted quickly and effectively into the protocol surrounding this type of work.

We have also witnessed the incredible work our clients do on a daily basis within these sectors and can only express genuine pride to be associated with such a world class operation.

Mike Dolman lead the initial teams on site and as Mike went on to work at other events it was Peter Hill who kept things going, so a big thank you from CF to these two. However the inspiration as usual came from the staff who have largely seen this as an opportunity to extend what was already a record breaking summer season just when it would have been nice to kick back for a well earned break, they kept going.

It really is what we are all about at CF Global.

Callum worked with Southport based staffing firm CF Global who supplied a forty strong management team to Sodexo Prestige events at the R.H.S Chelsea flower show.

Multi-tasker Callum who also is a BT trained cameraman on match days at the Merseyrail community stadium was selected to work on gala night attended by Her Majesty The Queen.
During the public days Callum displayed a good work ethic and was a great example to others while working in the prestigious Ranelagh restaurant which this year welcomed the famous "Dorchester Hotel" as guest caterers.

He was accommodated at a Travelodge hotel in London and shuttled to site daily by provided transport.

Overall Callum says he is pleased and proud to have attended the event. He said, "We have all been really well looked after and i would recommend working with CF Global to any body thinking of having a try. Its lucrative, its challenging and its fun."

The CF management team have been down in London this week scoping out different work and lifestyle opportunities in the area for CF Global staff who are staying down there with us.

Throughout the year a lot of our staff stay in Heston services and we have been looking at ways of providing a healthier lifestyle option while down there.

Firstly, after years of campaigning, we can officially say the Marks and Spensers has been opened this month in Heston West Services, providing much healthier eating options when staying there.

Secondly, we have found a local gym and pool to pair with and have come up with some fantastic deals which our staff can use exclusively.

For everyone who is interested in using the facilities, we have managed to secure everyone with a free day pass to use all gym and pool facilities for FREE, including pool, gym and classes.

We have also managed to strike a pay as you go deal for £7.70 each time you want to go (down from £10) and if we can get enough interest, we will be able to lower this even further.

For anyone interested in these great deals, get in contact with us on our website or email and we will sort out your free day pass.

*Dismantle and remove all shelving
